Could you please recommend me a good but not very long manga?

Which genres do you like? And do you want on-going or completed series?

If you like shounen adventure, then you will probably like 666 Satan (Also known as O-Parts Hunter). It has 76 chapters - but 19 volumes, so I'm guessing it might be too long. Saiyuki is a great shounen adventure manga as well, with more shoujo-ish art (and bishounens!). It has 55 chapters collected in 9 volumes.

If you like slice of life comedy, then you should enjoy Azumanga Daioh. It has 60 very short chapters collected in 4 volumes.

If you like one-shots, then I got a few you might like:
Hotarubi no Mori E - By the mangaka of Natsume Yuujinchou. It's one volume containing 4 one-shots. All the one-shots are shoujo romance/drama, very cute without being too fluffy.
Hotel is probably one of the best one-shots ever. In just one chapter, it tells the story of our world, after humanity has self-destructed.

All these series are completed and can be found scanlated. Be more specific if you want more recommendations

How about Cat Street?

This is the 3rd time me mentioning Cat Street in the Manga section. Why? Because it's the only one I know and I want to contribute to the forums. :O

I'd say it depends on the type of manga.
if you want shojo, thats short, try Absolute boyfriend. its short, i dont remeber how long it is exactly, but its really short considering and has a very sad ending.
or kamichama karin, it only has 7 books.

umm hmm.. so far theres an ongoing series called NORA. I only have volumes 1 and two. its about a dogdemon whos leaves for the human world, its intresting.

ever heard of jim henson's the labyrinth? well after you watch that movie, theres a manga of what happens next called "return to the labyrinth" about what happens to toby.its only 4 volumes long and the fourth volume will be out in august.
