Light V.S. Lelouch

who do you think is smarter or more tactic and who has the best power?

   Light Yagami         =  death note

                       or
Lelouch Lamperouge = code geass

please tell me your opinion  :)

Obviously Lelouch is better then Light. My reasoning behind this is:

 Lelouch died of his own design, meaning it was in his plan to die. Light screwed up and that left him dead.
